The publishers of the NADA pricing books, those yellow price guides most consumers use to buy a car, announced it will offer $200 bucks to people who attend it's convention in Orlando Florida February 13-15 of 2010.
NADA calls it the "NADA stimulus package", likely a subtle joke on the many stimulus packages offered through congress this past season. The $200 will be paid in the form of vouchers. Those lucky enough to receive a voucher can redeem their free money on goods offered from convention exhibitors.
National Automobile Dealers Association members will be receiving details by mail, according to Dealer Marketing, an industry magazine. US Automobile dealers have been hit hard by the worst economy in generations. The incentive is designed to encourage attendance at the 'yellow book' of price guides. NADA has stiff competition with Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds.
